The 2014 Festival includes a fantastic lineup of 70 films from 18 countries and eight world premieres. The signature summer film festival showcases independent film while catalyzing discussions, challenging expectations and expanding notions of Jewish identity and culture. This year is no exception. The lineup reflects the full diversity of Jewish experiences from Argentina to the Philippines and spotlights new works by talented emerging filmmakers of screens both large and small as well as legendary icons of our cinematic past.
The sfjff34 iPhone App connects audiences with immediate opportunities to get involved in the social justice campaigns highlighted in the films. Download the app to learn about what local organizations are doing on these issues in the Jewish community and beyond, and have the Festival right at your fingertips!
